We are replacing a Maytag cooktop and oven that was part of home’s previous remodel in late 90’s. They had a good run, but are outdated and replacement parts are hard to find.

Looking for recommendations on a 30” stainless steel range. Can be slide in or freestanding.

Thanks in advance!

Over Range Microwave

If you cook a lot, get rid of this and install a hood that vents to the outside.

Honestly, slide ins are few and far between. I wouldn’t even bother looking at slide-ins if you can convert to freestanding. No appliances are plentiful right now, but there is some availability and free standing is half the price.

Jen aire is the king of slide ins but they are overpriced IMO.
Maytag gives you must of the same .

Capital is my favorite oven brand but there are no really crap ovens I would say to avoid.

Buy a Thermador range and get a free range hood or dishwasher.

All depends on what you're trying to accomplish..

If you're one of the "hey look at me and my expensive kitchen appliances" and just want to brag on your appliances (which would be just sad), then get something expensive.

If you're practical and want to get something you like, get about anything that looks good to you. They all last for a long time.

It's an oven and a microwave. We had cheap ones in our house for 20 years. They worked great for 20 years. We updated our kitchen to stainless and got Samsung.
