Think I may spray the remaining centipede I have in my backyard with this soon so that my Bermuda can take over...

Seems like a winning strategy to me, even if it just weakens the centipede. Mow low!

Quinclorac won’t be magic on torpedo grass. You will have to be diligent.

This will only suppress Torpedo Grass, not kill it.

Other than turf or a complete change over to Bermuda that's his only option. Round up will kill it but it'll be back.

OP, I am in the same situation. A couple of years ago I nuked my whole yard with glyphosate then reseeded centipede. I thought I had won the war.. But just a year later, the torpedo started gaining control again.

This year I am converting my whole yard to Bermuda so I can spray Quinclorac and finally kill that stuff for good.

Well there you go

Had the same problem. Area 6’x20’. Killed everything with roundup. Had to use 3 applications to finally kill that crap. It’s indestructible. Then I cut the grass on the lowest mower setting bagging it. Then ran the weed eater down to the dirt. Then laid solid sod. That was 2 years ago. So far, so good.
