Google says this is due to mites or lack of water. I’m having this problem pretty consistently on my 4 bushes (Arapaho, I think). Covered with berries that look healthy but have stayed red and half-grown for a couple weeks now. Foliage on primo canes is starting to look dry and dead. If anything, I’d have thought these may be getting too much water. This is in the BR area. Anybody dealt with similar issue?

I'm in BR, and my blackberry harvest (thorned and thornless) is pretty much over. What was going on 3 or 4 weeks ago with your blackberries?

3 or 4 weeks ago I was getting some berries with lots of small ones coming on behind them. Was watering albeit less than I am now.

I do have woven weed mat down under them.

Could be root rot and lack of nutrients.

Too much water can evidence conditions similar to too little water, as the actual problem is lack of soil oxygen available to the plant.
I have a similar issue with my blackberries this year. Made fruit that were not fully formed and then were so slow to ripen some fruit are drying on the bush.
I attributed mine to not enough sun/light/day length. I moved them to a sunnier spot in the garden but don’t know if it will help next year.
