Damn that sucks…
It was my fault. I seen them going in, but I was too busy hunting and procrastinated. I was sitting on the deer stand and heard someone honking on the road, I walked out and he told me my camp was on fire. Lesson learned

I have one that is doing the same thing. They are climbing up the line from the condenser and chewed a wide hole. I covered it up with another board but they chewed through that in a matter of days too.
Is there a metal or plastic collar that I can buy to go around that pipe?

Not positive I understand your pipe problem.. but if you have them chewing your pipes down while sitting on the roof…yes this is common.. I also had this as did friends.. they chew the softer pipes like lead..hard plastic.( they will tear up patio chairs..kids play equipment …Rubbermaid sheds…). you can buy pipe covers at places like Home Depot .. they tend to not like painted aluminum…
They will chew the vent soft metal pipes down to the roof shingles and this will result in water getting below the shingles and then running down the pipe.. this happened to me and I discovered it by finding Sheetrock ceiling damage on my second floor where the vent pipe had insulation around it in the attic …

There is a cavity in the soffit where the power and line coming from the a/c condenser pass through into the attic. The squirrel has chewed that open wide enough to get through. Temporarily, I screwed a loose fence board I cut up against it to close it up. They chewed through that too.
I bought some sheet metal flashing from HD earlier I’m going to bend around it. I couldn’t find a metal or rubber collar to put around it.

I'm 2 for 2 so far this morning. Got my gun a week ago and I've eradicated 6 so far.

Respectfully, I think you need to get over this. Once they get in, they’ll keep destroying things in their repeated attempts to get in.
