Sparrows crapping on my patio

I am at my wits end. These damn things camp out above both my outdoor speakers and shite everywhere. There are droppings all over the place, including next to my door.
I have the spike strips but those didn't work well. Any other ideas?

Place one atop each speaker?
I'll check that out though my readings say you have to relocate them every week

had this same problem. i tried spikes and chicken wire and nothing stopped them. About 3 weeks ago, i put mouse traps up there and caught one of them. Got its leg. It fell down off the speaker and landed in my outdoor sink. I let it stay in there for a while and make all kinds of noise as a statement to other birds. I went and let it out and it flew off. Haven't even seen a bird since then.

Get a repeating sparrow trap.

I found a mesh net or fishing string to work really well as a deterrence. Hanging just off the wall either at the entrance or at their nest location.

The repeating sparrow trap works well. You have to be committed to do two things…….be able to identify the male and female House Sparrow (aka the English Sparrow or the Weaver Finch) and kill them when trapped AND check the trap frequently to release the non-targeted birds that may become trapped such as wrens, a plethora of “good” sparrows, cardinals, etc.
A site called “Uncle Blaine’s” sold me my last repeating trap. Been a few years ago.

Use those speakers to play hawk sounds on loop, via YouTube.

I don’t know why, but this literally made me

When you think about it, it really is kind of funny. Literally every time I walk outside to let the dog out I have to look at the pile of black and white turds collecting at the side of my door.
I have a beautiful house and back patio so extra infuriating!
