Soffit light cutting tool

Anyone have a recommendation for an easy cutting tool to cut the hole? Please link it if possible.

Wood, Hardie, or vinyl?
Wood or Hardie, they make a holesaw sized to fit. Would work on vinyl as well, but might jump around.
A rotozip type tool would also probably work well.

Yep, hole saw would be the easiest.

For vinyl used a hole saw but in reverse

You can use a rotary tool and make a circle jig. Screw it in the center of the hole and spin it around and you have perfect circle

If you have a dremel tool, Dremel makes a circle cutting tool that might be less expensive than gool hole saw.

Vinyl soffit. Would I use the hole saw in reverse to prevent it cutting it all up? What’s y’all take on that?
