Scott’s 3/1 Bermuda seed

I have a 5x10 area next to my patio that needed some good grass. I spread 10 bags of soil and hand broadcast half a bag of seed combo. Plan to water daily, how long before I get a stand of grass?

How much of the bag was actual seed?
In general, seeding isn’t worth the time, especially with the current temps and water requirements.
If you water appropriately, meaning for 5-10 minutes at a time, four to six times per day, then you will probably have a lot of grass and weeds in a month’s time.
But my first question still matters. How much actual seed did you use?
Plugging or sprigging aided by loads of nitrogen, sun, and water, is the best way to cultivate Bermuda.
Edit to add: if you don’t have 6+ hours of direct sunlight on that area you wasted a bit of time and money. Bermuda requires more sun than any grass around.

????? on seed, three different colors of granules. 8+ hours of sun, easy enough to water. I will keep up with the water, I’m just trying to get some grass instead of the weeds right now.
Thanks
Thanks

Check the back of the bag for how much ground it covers.
Water every 2-3 hours.
Sounds like you’ll be ok.
Buy Celsius and Sedgehammer for the inevitable weeds with all of that watering.
Wait a month to spray for weeds.
Cut grass after about 2-3 weeks from sprouting.

Unless the bag states that a starter fert is included, put down a starter fert or anything with a high middle number for root development. I use 12-18-8, but 13-13-13 will do.
