my tree only has about 10-12 dozen this year, but they are starting to ripen...it's been VERY dry here in BR and I haven't watered the tree at all

I've heard drier weather helps the sweetness/flavor, but not sure if that's an old wives tale...should I water the tree or leave it be?

Not sure if the right thing, but I put some on mine a few days ago.

I’d water. More concerned for the life of the tree instead of the crop quality. Just don’t over do it.

It takes water to make juice. Tree stress is not good for anything.
