Ryobi vs Kobalt 12 inch miter saw

Ryobi and kobalt both have double bevel sliding miter saws but the kobalt is $100 more. For $250 kobalt does have a 10 inch saw that appears to just be a smaller version of the 12 inch with all the same features.

Is the kobalt really worth the extra $100 or is the quality mostly the same? I’ve been collecting ryobi tools Over the past month and so far they’ve performed well and all seem to be great for the price. Only one I wish I stepped up was the weed eater but I did buy ryobis cheapest model.

Thoughts on which sliding miter saw I should go with?
