Does anyone know what type of rose bush this is?

Looks like a double knockout to me but I’m not 100%

When I grew test roses for Jackson and Perkins
I had one similar to it and was a flora-bunda.

I'm not a rose expert so for now I'll go with "pink". It's a pink rose bush.

There are several hundred if not thousands of rose varieties so IDing one is very difficult. But it may be a French Rose (rosa gallica)

I am trying to get something similar, this was my Grandmothers I transplanted before we sold their house
I guess there is no reason to have them match

If it was your grandmother’s I’d venture to guess it was an antique rose. Cramoisi Superieur was a popular and vigorous variety that looks similar.

Here’s a shot I just snapped of mine. There’s a climber and a shrub variety. The flowers come out red, sometimes sort of pink highlights and fade to pink
