I have some high quality outdoor furniture that has rusted. Has anyone used a body shop to have such furniture sandblasted and repainted? If so have much does this type job usually run. Due to travel for work, I don't have time for a DIY project.

Don't paint it again----powdercoat it and be done with it.

If it is such high-end stuff, it may be worth the cost to do it right.

I have one of those steel mesh outdoor tables. It rusts like hell and I just put a new coat of Krylon spray paint over it every year. Still going strong like 8 years in.

A gun shop is not going to be equipped to coat a table. You are not going to fit a table in the types of blast cabinets a gun shop is using. Why would a gun store even want to deal with this, they make much more money in less time coating a gun.

Powder coating is your solution.

Think I paid like $200 for my chairs and 150 for my table. Was several years ago.

Call BR powder coat if you are near town.

I just repainted mine. Cheap spray gun for my compressor, wire cup for my hand grinder, gallon of rust oleum paint and all done in a weekend. I already had all the equipment and paint so it was basically free.
