you didn’t seed this or anything. Just hard work for 2 years?
Not even a year!
No seed.
Nothing but effort since last August.
I had so many low spots.
Brought in 3 yards of dirt in early September and it’s all covered now.
Spot leveled a good bit twice in April too. Mowing frequency makes the biggest difference as far as horizontal growth and thickness goes.
Last September

Just for fun, this was three summers ago:

I’ve got one of these arriving Monday

Serious question though…
Is this too much debris to cut?
I’ve had a million ash tree seeds? fall this year. Will that jam it up?

What is the benefit of a reel mower?
It cuts your grass instead of pulverizing it.
I used a manual reel most of the year but I gave up when temps reached 100+ and got the x300 back out. Some vacation also screwed with my plans. Great feeling watching that 1” Bermuda thicken up though. I’ll try again next year.

Probably not. Mine mows through acorns, small twigs, my son’s small plastic toys left in the lawn. Hardwood mulch will force the handlebar directly into your midsection though.

Regarding back lapping, do you prefer a certain compound?
Manual crank or drill?

What’s your HOC and cut frequency?

I have only done manual from a basic Amazon kit. Worked just fine. The 7 blade is 100x’s easier than the 5 blade. I sharpened the 5 blade twice monthly. The 7 blade twice this season.

How big is your yard what look you want and how much money you want to spend. This is my backyard chipping green cut at5/8 with a 20” commercial California trimmer
I’m to old for manual push mower just hav to decide what look you want. It’s gonna take time money and effort Bermuda is tough but looks great when it’s kept

Not home enough. Got the basics down though.
