very common if the septic tank does not have a discharge receptor. The discharge water is used for irrigation (perfectly safe).

it’s actually a more efficient use of the resource however the systems can be maintenance heavy

Appreciate the education. I’m familiar with grey water but didn’t think they came from septic.

To the question, I see no reason the sprinklers wouldn’t work provided they had enough flow and pressure.
