Has anyone here used the ProShield brand luxury vinyl flooring from Pro Source Warehouse? If so, would love your thoughts on quality, durability, etc.

Just put down Proshield Edge XL-warm sand this week. We are pleased. Definitely an upgrade from our laminate flooring.

Nice. We are looking at the Edge XL also, but in Bark. Haven’t been able to find many reviews online, but I figured people on this board had to have some experience with it.

If you got it at Pro Source it’s quality stuff. This is another company that stands behind their products. Helped me out many times over the last 25 years or so.

Puts some down at a camp that sits w/o HVAC most of year. Went down well and after 6 months all good. Dealt with the store in Youngsville LA and was very pleased with their service and help.

It’s good stuff and can take a beating. We put it in our RV, which deals with loads of traffic and extreme environmental conditions. It would still be there if we didn’t have a leak that caused the subfloor to rot in one place. Since it doesn’t breathe it would never dry out underneath even after the leak was fixed, and led to the rot. That is nothing against the product, just the particular application. We went back with real wood, but I really miss the durability of the vinyl. Years of tailgating and it looked just as good as when we put it down, and was extremely low maintenance. I’m kind of kicking myself for not going back with it after the repairs, but we bought a few boxes of leftovers and would not be able to match the lot number and did not have any left over. It would have shown bad in such a small space if we tried to patch in the area. I was able to buy enough wood to do it twice, if needed, for the same price.

You will not be sorry for going with it in your house. The only complaint we had before the water problem was it took a year for the vinyl smell to go away, but that is probably not so bad in a house, unless you let you house sit unconditioned for long periods of time.

Was your replacement local to BR? Looking for a good rec on a flooring contractor for a 1100 sq ft replacement.
