I want to put up a porch swing in the yard. I am doing the beams and anchoring to the ground so just looking for the bench part to hang. Anyone have experience with companies that sell these? There are so many and its hard to tell some of the junk from better companies. Thanks

SWING SPRING HOOKS
My only suggestion to this is to make sure you get a type of spring hook for hanging. It takes the porch swing to the next level of comfort

Just stumbled on this post. If looking for a porch swing, and wanting it to last, make sure it is well built. And by well built I mean with the seat and back braces half-lapped/glued and also put together with SS 1/4 in bolts. You will also want very solid mounting points where the swing chain is attached.
You also don't want one with the seat and back slats simply nailed on, even if they say they used SS nails. I use exterior grade screws that are countersunk and the holes filled with wood putty to hide them and make for a totally smooth seat and backrest.
I would also advise you to be looking for one built out of treated lumber if you plan on having it in a yard exposed to the weather. I've built a few out of cypress and they look great, but cypress today is not like it was years ago and it WILL eventually rot.

Amen on the springs. My dad owned a body shop. We would use the springs off of old cars.
Game changer.
