I’m at about $47000 for 29x14 gunite rectangle getting dug in a few weeks. No hot tub. Fiberglass has increased a lot this year and is the same price now as gunite from all the quotes I got.
Prices have increased $5-7k since last summer

I can recommend Acadiana Pools and Cajun Pools. Both do excellent work.

Curious to see what their wait times are. Ours took 10 months. I know the rains had a lot to do with it.

In Youngsville as well and considering fiberglass pool. What company did you go with and would you recommend?
We ended up going with costa pools. They did a couple in my subdivision and could start the soonest. Prices for 4 quotes were within $1500 of each other. Those boys hustle. My contractor told me they were shooting gunite on a 40,000 gallon job this week. ??. My pool is 15,000 for comparison. Would recommend them in a heartbeat. Contractor is pretty young and eager for work. They don’t do much landscaping work though but most of my yard is decked so I only need some rocks around the edging.

We signed contract on May 5 and we’re supposed to start on the 14th. Got delayed almost a month with the city for a permit because of a drainage easement along the back of our property. Ended up breaking ground on June 14th and filled with water and started pumps on august 7. That’s with all the rain slowing shite down too.
