Plumbing question

My home is on a septic tank. I want to add a sink in the basement and drain it into the main 4" PVC pipe that goes directly to the septic tank. There is a clean-out that will be above the connection. My plan is to install a tee and reduce down to my sink drain. Any concerns with this connection?

Well, I will ask the obvious question.....
Is the top of your septic tank lower than your basement floor? If not, you will have to install a pump in the basement to get the water to the septic tank.
As far as the connection, just install the new line so that it can be taken apart incase you need to clean out the line.

If your in a basement im assuming your drainline is below your main drain? If thats the case they make a little 3-5 gallon basin with a pump you can put under the sink but you would have to plumb it into your main.

The sink will be above the septic tank so it would be a gravity drain. Thanks for the help.

But where is your basement plumbing? Often the sewage line out of the house is between the main floor and the basement. Otherwise your sewage plumbing leaving your house would be 9 ft below ground or more. Maybe a walk out basement?
But no issues tying in, I mean you can add a clean out easily if you need. It’s just to help clean out, that doesn’t really have anything to do with where you can and can’t add in to the line.
