I have a pergola on my patio and the sun shines through the opening that beats on my back door. The sun blinds me in the kitchen and heats up the area.

I’m looking to add a roll down shade or blinds in between my two support post of the pergola to block the shade, preferably something that can still breath.

The problem everything you can order/buy at Home Depot/lowes/amazon is too small. It’s roughly 15’x13’ (I don’t have the dimension on me at the moment).

Where can I order a custom shade? Online or locally in Baton Rouge area

We did an electric shade for the back patio tv area. It’s s large area. It wasn’t cheap. The only cool thing is that it comes with a remote

I bought some I was very happy with from Amazon. You can custom order the size.

Lowe’s has them in different lengths. I see a 7ft length. Get two, and split the difference. I put up 4 on my back patio that have held up well for over 10yrs.

thought about this before, but does the gap between the two blinds aggravate you or shine light through it?

Not at all. Start them a few inches in on each side if you can, then they might only be 4-6” apart in the middle.

I was in a similar situation. Had some custom made from this company LINK /

They ship to you and you or a handyman will need to install. Great quality and 1/4 the price I was quoted by BR companies.
