I have a Maytag Centennial dryer, Model MEDc300BW0 . Probably 5 years old. Load of laundry finished. Went to start next, won’t turn on. Does nothing at all. Light inside drum still comes on when door is opened. Any thoughts? Thermal fuse? Lint catch was pretty saturated.

Probably thermal trip. Do note there are usually multiple ones in a dryer.
Could be door switch.
Open it up and check everything with a multimeter, providing you know how to safely use one

Sounds like your vent line may be blocked

My belt popped last week on my dryer, I heard it pop so I pretty much knew what it was.
But you could hit start and it would just permanently flash like it was going to start but never would. Everything else was the same. Belt is usually something easy to find, just gotta remove a panel to see the drum.
If your control board is not turning on at all, that’s another issue. I can’t remember if the fuses are popped if that removes power to the control board? Or if it just prevents it from starting?
ETA: the thermal fuses are just a switch, you can connect the wires that go to the fuse together to see if that’s the issue. Often times as said above, the thermal fuse popping is a sign of another issue like lint build up.

Update: it was the thermal fuse. $11 part and 3 minutes and back to new. Thanks for the input
