Looking for some gravel for a driveway in the Covington/Mandeville area. Any recommendations ?
I like limestone but see different sizes.
What’s the best bang for your buck on good looking, functional, driveway gravel?

it looks good, it packs well, it lasts forever and it will eventually set up almost like asphalt
call around to the material suppliers and see if anyone has any or can get it (it comes and goes). It’s worth seeking out first
I have a third of a mile of driveway and wasted thousands on limestone. Ten years ago put the slag down and haven’t touched it since

Are you talking about iron millings (red rock)?

no
slag is the solidified stony impurities that are a byproduct of the smelting process. The pieces look like grey lava rock
