I think I have a few different types in the front yard. Combination of bermuda and st. aug? If it is Bermuda, should I plan on putting down seed? Will it takeover the st. aug? Lastly, is it too late for a pre-emergent? How long after the pre-emergent can I spread Bermuda seed?

Opened the links and looks like St. Augustine. It will crowd out Bermuda. Temps between 55-75 IIRC are suitable for putting pre-emergent. I'm in BR and put down Prodiamine last Wednesday. You can spot treat with post-emergent now.

Looks like St Aug with the links. But watch out if there’s any Bermuda.

Bermuda, being the ‘Alpha’ of warm season grasses will always take over St Aug in full sun. Cutting frequent, low, and watering only a little will expedite the process.

Can’t get the pictures to upload, link should have better pictures.

Any recommendations on what pre-emergent to utilize?

Yeah I feel like the majority is Bermuda. Should spread any Bermuda seed in areas that are not Bermuda?

I wouldn’t because it’ll never match.
If it’s Bermuda, and I really can’t tell, just cut low and often it will take over faster than you’d think. Fertilize with a nitrogen heavy product every six weeks and it’ll really blow your mind.

Prodiamine is what I used on my St. Augustine. It's safe for Bermuda.

I only clicked the first three links so unless it’s gets weird you have bermuda.

Put down prodiamine yesterday.

Why would you feel the need to seed? Do you have bare spots?

Yeah there are some areas that are bare and others that have some other form of grass/weed growing.

Take an up close photo of the leaf blade. I was looking on my phone last night so I want to make sure it is the correct id.

I'm on the desktop now and able to see better.

Links one and two are definitely St Aug
The bare spots in links three and four show some bermuda, which makes sense. It was probably able to take over in those areas during last summer's drought.
