I own a two story home in Clinton built in 1903 that needs the foundation jacked up in one corner and new brick pillars installed. Plumbing and utilities will have to be reconnected as part of this work. Is there anyone in the Baton Rouge area that you would recommend? Thank you in advance.

No more than 8 inches at the lowest spot.

Jacking up the slab puts you at major risk of cracking the existing slab that is still intact. Be careful

There is no slab. It is a pier and beam foundation.

8” is a lot, do you have nails pulling from boards due to the movement ?

Foundation Work

Repairing/replacing piers, sills, subfloor, joists, etc is possibly going to cause some unintended damage to other things (siding, walls, roof, etc) depending on how long the foundation has needed this work. I'd suggest get a local general contractor that done a lot of remodel work b/c once the foundation is repaired you will still have a lot of work left to do.
