Need rec for Maytag Washing Machine repair

Thinking it is computer board or panel issue. Works, but not in normal sequence and is stalling. Having to restart to get it to complete cycle.

Probably the timer. Changed mine last week in 15 minutes for less than $100.

Try these before you call a service tech:

- search YouTube with model #. There are usually videos dealing with your specific problem.

- go to repairclinic.com and search for your model #. They have videos and tips on common failures that should help.

but yes, i have followed those 2 pieces of advice for years and they've never failed. i can't follow instructions for shite but show me a 2 minute YT video and i can do it PERFECTLY.

Not sure if this did it, but I tried a few of the odd “reset” methods online and it is working now. Example: open and close the lid 6 times in 30 seconds after unplugging for at least 1 minute. There were several others. Not sure what did or did not do the trick as nothing worked immediately. Oh well, not complaining as it seems to be working.
