Installed some dusk to dawn LED lights last week.

Sun goes down. One light opops on as it shoould. The other one turns into a strobe light. Only thing missing was a disco ball. I fixed that by placing duct tape on the sensor. Light worked d but that meant I had to manually turn it off in the morning.

So..... I take it back to Lowes and exchange it yesterday. Replace it. Strobe light again. What the hell?

No chance anything is in front of the sensor that could be triggering it to flicker?

I’ve had leaves in the fall impact the sensor turning off, but if it’s continual it’s probably a systemic issue with the brand at Lowe’s.

Did the box for the photocell say if they were LED compatible?

What else is on the circuit? Certain devices play hell with some LED driver circuits and will cause them to flicker or strobe.

Can you put the non strobing light in the position of the strober and see if it is possibly a bad bulb again or something else going on with the sensor or power input.

Some string lights have that as a setting that can be adjusted. Look for a small button on the solar panel.
