A friends neighbors tree fell on his shed. It’s the one that has runners that sprout up saplings all over your yard. No that I have the mother tree split wide open, what would be best to put in and kill its roots? Asking for friend.

Well they run into my yard, I’d end up killing half my grass on back 40.

I have had great experiences with Crossbow:

Crossbow

Use a machete or drill in to the root/stump and pour a small amount into the wound/hole. That tree will be dead.

Easy. Use a 1" wood paddle bit and drill about 6 holes a inch deep at the base of the tree where it starts to flare out at the ground. Fill the holes with concentrate Roundup. Tree will be dead in a month.
