My lawn is very healthy. No weeds, kept cut to 4 inches. but there is one area about 12-15 ft. in diameter that has brown foliage with healthy grass mixed in, roughly 50-50. I don't know how to post pic but I hope description was adequate. Zonk, Crawdude, any idea's?

Any moths? I’ve had really bad web worms the last few weeks. I’ve sprayed bifen twice and bt twice. If not I’d say something fungal.

Circular in shape? If so, possibly large patch LINK?

Posting photos would really help, including close up of leaf blades, damaged/unhealthy.

This is what I do to post photos

Postimages.org
Select “choose images”
Upload your pic.
Copy “direct link”
Return to TD
Click “Img” button
Paste “direct link”

Go to the yellowing edge of the circle and grab a yellow leaf. Pull it out. If it pulls out easy and has black lesions at the base it’s large patch.

I like propiconizole for this.

I fought dying grass this year. My back yard is completely gone, but I figured it out. I had chinch bugs. Grass would look thirsty, then turn yellow, then finally die.
