I’m trying to find a window unit air conditioner/heater

It’s not in a window though, it’s in a wall. Dimensions of the space in the wall are 26 inches by 16 3/8 inches.

I need a 230 volt unit

Current AC is 9000 btu

Plug in, if you’re looking at it head on has the middle circular prong (the nose) and 2 horizontal prongs (the squinting eyes).

I’ve searched amazon and google but I’ve been unsuccessful. Any help is greatly appreciated.

TIA

Have you tried Walmart yet? They normally have a large selection, but theirs might all be 110 volt

You may get lucky and find one to fit those dimensions, but that will not always happen and some adjustment in hole size may be needed.

As for the shape of the plug, you can change your receptacle in the outlet to fit the plug that is on the unit, or just buy a replacement plug and wire it to the cord to match the receptacle.

I wouldnt change the receptacle to a 120v form factor. I went through this once with a clothes dryer. It was like the dryer knew the wiring was different and would only operate at 120 and took 2.5 hours to dry clothes. Im not clear on all the physics but when I changed both receptacle and cord to 240, clothes dried in 30 minutes.

You can buy replacement 220V plugs that will fit the receptacle in the outlet. I'm not suggesting going to a 120V set-up.

The OP already said he's looking for a 230V unit.
