I have a 3500 psi generac and love it. I use it multiple times a year with zero problems.

GPM (gallons per minute) more important than PSI
The more GPM the better

And don't just let them run without flowing water or you can burn up your water pump due to heat buildup in the pump.

Dont get electric and add a decent surface cleaner attachment. The surface cleaners at HD or lowes, are okay, the ones at Northern tool and other places are better.
Key is make sure you use non ethanol or at least a treatment for gas and store properly
Get one with a honda engine

NYCAuburn just summed it up.
Definitely the rotary surface cleaner for flat cement application as OP stated.

Honda engine with a simpson pump has worked well for me over the last 8 years.

Get one with a honda engine like everyone above says. Mine is 10 years old and doing fine. Only things I have replaced are the hose and gun. It doesn't get heavy commercial use but definitely gets used much more than an average homeowner would and has held up great.
