I have some space between the concrete floor and the brick wall. I believe there was wood there in the gap, and it has been removed.

So I'm left with this gap (2-3 inches in spots).

Best was to fill it in? mix some new concrete to fill it in? Use a foam filler?

Thanks.

Similar to this image I found on the interwebs..

the wood was an expansion joint filler.
put some backer rod in the gap and install some joint sealer, you can get it at any civil construction supply place

You want something to fill. Expand a Foam, might push between the slab and wall. They make a number of fillers. Find the one that fits your application.

2-3 inches is a solid gap. Something like a self leveling concrete bag would probably be the easiest but it’s expensive. I’ve done the backer rod and caulk and foam and caulk with limited experience, but for gaps larger than about 1” that’s kinda a pita and requires a LOT of caulk.
