My dad needs grass help

The yard overall is pretty healthy except for this one area.
I stuck my finger in the soil and it was moist. Any ideas? Thanks.

Oh, you are talking about the grass to the left. Yeah, that is fake grass. That is actually my parent's courtyard.

It looks fungal. Could be large patch or take all patch. Go get Scott's DiseaseX and apply according to the label.

I like to do peat moss when the grass is actively growing.
