I have a little less than half an acre and if my shite lower end model greenworks which isnt self propelled can do my yard on two batteries in just over an hour a newer ego is plenty fine.
From late July until my yard went dormant I used an earth wise reel mower

Greenworks
Tomorrow (only) you can get 30% off. I've used the 21" 60V for 3 years now. Never a problem. So simple and time saving. Storage is better also.
I'd definitely consider the 25" model

You don't need an expensive commercial mower for a lot that size. Get a cheap smaller riding mower and have the yard done before you finish your beer! Won't regret the decision in the summer heat!

I've also only ever heard good things about the newer Greenworks. The upside is that most of, if not all, the push mowers have a metal deck. EGO uses a metal deck on a couple newer models, but the rest use a very tough and thick plastic deck. I've had no issues with that. It's just not as easy to clean.

Bought a new Honda push mower last year for about $375 (previous Honda was 10 yrs old). Also bought a makita straight shaft trimmer and blower combo on sale for $180. Does the trick on my 1/3 ac

Has anyone used the yard force battery reel mower?
It looks to be the replacement for the Sun Joe which was really popular
