So now my centipede looks red and badly stressed. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to help encourage the healing. Or will it just repair itself over time? And if so, how long roughly?

You can put activated charcoal in the affected area. Other than that just give it time. The centipede might be stunted for a couple weeks.

Centipede will show some stress, yellowing, temporarily, even when using sethoxydim at the recommended labeled rate.
