Metal awning thingy over doorway, how does it attach?

I have a decorative metal awning over a side entrance and it's staining the stucco. I'm going to either replace it or try to seal it. Any idea how it attaches to the house? I don't see any visible screws or brackets. I've googled but everything I pull up is a free standing awning and not one sitting on top of an entryway box.
TIA

There are probably some plugs on the rail where it attaches to the house.

If this was my house, to maintain the look, this is what I'd do: Inexpensive, simple and will seal the surface. And you won't need to remove it.
Thoroughly clean the metal.
Sand well with 120 grit or so to roughen the surface
Wipe down with mineral spirits.
Paint with a quality metal primer.
Paint with a matching quality exterior metal paint.

That sounds like a good plan. The reason I want to remove it is because the corrosion might be coming from the underside of the metal so I was going to seal the entire thing all the way around. If I can't remove it, then I will follow your advice for sure.

Need to use a better camera than the potato phone that took that picture. Is the metal standing seam? It was probably made on-site.
