Normally unplug it for a few minutes and it will open. That’s not working now. Any tips or tricks?

Google the title of your thread. AI gave me a list of 4 or 5 things to try, plus a video.

Bummer. Let us know what the solution is. Maybe by posting it here, AI will improve and help the next victim of a front loader.

I had to take my dad to the ER, so I wasn’t here when the repairman was here. I’m not sure what he did. He wasn’t able to identify the problem because I hadn’t paid attention to the initial problem code, and he wasn’t able to recreate it. However, he got the door open and my wife tells me it was working when he left.
The Appliance Repair Team came out on a Saturday. $80 fee (not charged if they can’t help you, applied to repair if needed). They ran a little late from appointment time, but called to tell me they would be late. Overall, very satisfied with the service and will be using them again in the future.

I was going to ask, was it locked up after you started a load? Usually if you keep the machine on for awhile it will eventually unlock. It has happened to my old washer before.
