Does anyone have an online lighting fixture site that has great stuff but has great prices? Seems that this board has some shopping gems and those great deals from time to time - Just seems the lighting fixtures in the brick and mortar places are astronomical

all i'll say is i was shocked after being conditioned to years of $100-$200 fixtures at lowes & home depot walking into a lighting fixtures store and everything was $800+
maybe wayfair or amazon would have cheaper prices but its tough for me to buy a fixture online without being able to see it in person and of course, if it sucks after you hang it, how easy is it to just bring it back to home depot and know they will take it back no-questions-asked?

I ordered some more lights this morning from Ledmyplace. Not sure they’ll have what you’re looking for but they’re legit. Slough of friends and myself have their stuff.

Find fixtures you like and plug the serial or model number and name into Google and comparison shop. We found better prices that way. Our kitchen pendants were purchased from an eBay store, for several hundred dollars cheaper than other places, and they were not seconds. Also, look at Houzz. While they do have pricey things, they sometimes also show similar items of varying price points.

I’ve bought several fixtures off wayfair that were as nice or nicer than the stuff in the fancy lighting store.
Not to mention fancy lighting stores get their fixtures from big suppliers so you’re likely gonna be buying it based off a picture unless it happens to be in their showroom.
Shop on wayfair and READ reviews. You’ll find what you’re looking for and a hell of a lot cheaper than what’s in the overpriced lighting stores........they all come from the same factories in China anyway.

Where are you located? Brick and mortars usually have better prices than online for similar quality fixtures. If you want cheap buy the crappy shite from Home Depot and Lowe’s. If you buy online you will be missing parts, get your fixture in broken, would look different than you thought, etc..
Your local showroom probably has some builder grade lines they can show you which aren’t as pricey.
