My tree took it on the teeth despite my best efforts. What do I need to do to help restore it to its former glory

Give it time, it will probably be ok, even if it loses all its leaves

This.
Give it plenty of time. I've had a mango, lemon, and grapefruit make it through 14 degrees. None had any new growth for 8 months, but finally recovered.

Keeping my satsuma and lime trees covered through Saturday night as its forecast to hit 25F

Going to re-cover it tonight but we are getting a little sun so i figured I’d let it breath for awhile

Lemons and limes are the least cold hardy of all citrus. I’ve seen some large trees come back after the freeze and others not make it. Your satsuma trees are probably fine.

I have a Lime tree and it took a major hit in 2016 (?). All the leaves fell off and I thought it was dead. Many dead branches. It didn't have any fruit until this past year.

I planted a grafted Meyer lemon a few years ago. A freeze killed off the top part of the graft and only the root section lived, which sent up branches. It is now nothing but thorns and does not produce. I want it out of my yard.

It's going to look like a Charlie brown xmas tree. Give it time, if no shoots by may it's dead as 4o'clock
