I have a ton in my garden, Spinosad knocked them back well, sure I will have to retreat. Anyone else have any luck getting rid of them ?

I hit them with permethrin and spinosad. It only keeps them away for a few days, though.

I carry one of these lil frickers full of diatomaceous earth with me when I'm checking the garden. Give every one I see a lil puff.

water and dawn dish soap
keep a spray bottle out there and use as needed; you can spray plant and fruit without worry

Try not to spray blooms

I've used Jerry Baker's "All Season Clean-Up Tonic" for years. Used every two or three weeks it helps.

The tobacco tea has a similar effect of neonicotinoids, but without being systemic. Make the tobacco tea using cheese cloth if you can't find an old pair of nylons around your place. I just buy the cheap dollar store baby shampoo and mouthwash, wintergreen usually.

Is that stuff ok for the bees?

I'm pretty sure it is. It doesn't absorb into the plant, and pollinators consume pollen/nectar differently than true bugs (piercing mouth part). I've never seen a drop in bees using it. It will kill caterpillars, though.

The problem with neonicotinoids is that they're systemic and a higher/concentrated dose.

I have seen more leaf footed bugs this year than ever in my life. They're everywhere. Different species too.
