Can anyone recommend a company that they have used for lawn Areation in the Hammond - Covington area?If I can't find someone, I'll try to do it myself.

If I do it myself, any recommendations on what machine (brand) is better to rent and use?

There's 1 person in Covington that was advertising on FB market. I got quotes of $500 for the Nola area. A guy that quoted me has down some lawns for me before and I'm pretty sure he doesn't have an aerator. I assume he was going to go rent the same one I will. Going to rent the machine from Home Depot for $60 or whatever. There's YouTube videos on the model and it seems fairly easy.

I used Southern Topdressing last year to aerate, spread sand, and level it in. I was pleased with their work.

Do you know how much it was? I have about 2,000 sq foot I would like to do and have been seeing their advertising.

I had a guy quote me a couple years ago $1,600 which I thought was nuts but that's the only quote I've ever gotten.
