Currently in the building phase but looking to get some ideas on landscaping. What is in style nowadays?

Love it!

I start with trees and go from there.

Nice build - if I had that much $ invested in a new house, I’d hire a landscape architect to develop a front yard landscape plan for me (and I have) even if I wanted to do all landscape work myself (and I have) to save on cost, but also for the therapeutic and enjoyment factor of doing the work yourself.

In the long run, the $ you pay a licensed professional for that plan will worth every penny you paid. Your options are almost limitless. But I’ll will add I’ve really taken a liking to many of the ornamental grasses as accent features (little maintenance) in the landscape, and wish I had space to add more.

We also used Plant Tech, and were incredibly happy with their work.
