Who do you use to clean and keep it balanced? Thanks.

I did my startup and first couple months until I got the hang of it with Grant Bourgeois last august. Super nice guy and doesn’t push you to use him if you don’t want. He’s always available if I needed him to clear up any issues though. Not cheap, I think it was $150 a month for service every other week. It includes all chemicals and cleaning. I’ve been doing it myself since October and managed to not destroy my pool yet.

Keep your filter clean and don't let the chlorine get low. Simple. I haven't added a chemical besides chlorine in over 3 years. I put the cheap bouffant hair nets in my skimmer to keep all the fine debris from getting to my filter. Chunk and replace every few days. They are like $5 for 100 on Amazon. This keeps my filter from clogging and needing cleaning.

It’s very simple to take care of a pool especially if you have a robotic cleaner.
I wrestled with keeping mine crystal clear last year. Changed the sand in the filter last month and it made a world of difference.

99% of pool owners issues with water chemistry is not following the free chlorine:CYA relationship. The higher you raise your CYA (TABLETS!!!!), the more chlorine you need to increase.
Check your ph once a week (keep in the 7s) and that's it. Yes Calcium Hardness and Total Alkalinity play a certain role, but not in keeping the water clear.
+1 on getting a robot clean. Pressure/Suction side cleaners are like using a flip phone...old technology. Robots clean 100x better

30 2 4-6
40 3 5-7
