It it too late to transplant a small oak?

Hoping it's not... 4' tall water oak I need to put in a location I don't care about, that just needs something to grow there.

A water oak? It'll survive. I would seriously reconsider it though. They are a pain in the arse.

Yeah yeah.... again it's a free tree and I need it somewhere I don't care about, even an ugly tree.
