I have some Scott’s max green I didn’t get to spread yet. Is it too hot now? I have a irrigation system to water it all in but temps are mid to low 90s now.

You are good. I would wait until late afternoon to make the watering for effective, but that is me.

I hit it with milo about 2 months ago. I plan to use mostly that. It doesn’t grow fast tho and I have some thin spots from a hard fall last year. So I want to give it a shot of some of this max green stuff and let it grow in a little.

Forecast is overcast and a little chance of rain early next week so maybe then.

Thanks!

I would continue with milo at double the bag rate. Or use purely organic at double the bag rate. With purely organic you will need to get either chelated iron or some sort of granulated iron supplement for that blue green look.

ETA: I would go double bag rate milo every 3 months or go bag rate every 1-1.5 months.

There is no temperature restriction on lawn fertilizer only (those don’t contain herbicide) so you can apply it now, but if you could wait to apply it right before a rain to water it in that would be best.

It's never to hot to throw down any fertilizer. Throw it down in the evening water in the next morning
