Any room that's can be closed off with a door needs a register, including WICs.

I disagree. You never put a return in a bathroom for 2 reasons.

1. Why would you want to suck shite smell into your system and spread it around your house?

2. Why would you want to suck 100% humidity air from a shower and spread it around your house?

There is a reasons bathrooms have bathroom vents that suck air out of the bathroom and shoot it outside the house. See 1 and 2 above as to why.

The home I bought a few years ago didn’t have one in either of our two bathrooms. We spent the whole first two years miserable as frick in there until I finally had enough of it and went to YouTube to learn how to install one myself.

Spent about $100 from Home Depot and about three hours in the attic one spring when it wasn’t too hot and did it myself. Came out fantastic and the bathrooms are so much more comfortable now. They smell better, too.

The most important thing is to make sure your unit is large enough for the added cooling space.
