Bought my house from a guy who ran a landscaping company. Toro system in ground sprinklers. Over the years, replaced some sprinklers heads with lowes/Home Depot rain bird heads, and they never worked quite as well and aren’t as reliable as the toro. In college, worked on a golf course with a toro system, but trying to find the right height/diameter replacement heads in a retail store (or even online) is impossible. Any suggestions?

personally I'm a big fan of Rain Bird SP gear drive rotors (single spray port that oscillates back and forth) and then Hunter for MP rotors (the multi-port sprays/streams where the head just spins in a circle non stop).

I have been very happy with these choices.
