and I think it was too hot......it is killing everything in site....

It was mostly weeds, and the St Aug is trying to re-emerge. My yard is doomed anyway....tired of fighting the VBW and others.

Lived down south my whole life and NEVER had issues like the last 5 years.

Mix MSM Turf 1/8 oz. to 1 gallon of water. Don't fudge! or you'll burn the St. Aug.

1/8 of a teaspoon = 0.5 grams; 1/8 oz =3.5 grams is way too high…..maybe you made a typo

So what is the correct mixture? The msm turf came with a measuring funnel in oz. How much in oz. Should be mixed in 1 gallon for spot spraying?

I believe the spot spray rate is .1oz per 4 gal, so .025oz per gal

This hasn’t been posted in a while so I’ll I’ll re-post it as a “cheat sheet”. Just note that there is a decimal point in front of the “ .1 oz equals 1 teaspoon”, so 0.1 oz = teaspoon. So 0.0125 oz = 1/8 teaspoon = A little $12-15 digital jewerly-micro scale off of Amazon that measures in fractions of a gram or ounces is helpful for weighing out dry herbicides.

For spot spraying MSM Turf=Manor I personally use 1/8 teaspoon in 1 gallon of water with surfactant. For whole lawn spraying I add 1/8 teaspoon to 2 gallons of water b/c with my sprayer and my walking gait, 2 gallons of solution covers 1000 sq ft.

I could of sworn either you are Ronk said 1/8 to a gallon is the proper mix. Are you saying 1/8 is to strong? If it is, what is the right mix for a gallon of water for VBW? Thanks.

He said 1/8 of an ounce is wayy too strong.
---------
He said 1/8 of a teaspoon is appropraite.

....There's a big difference between the two 1/8ths .......

I definitely fudged, and it ended up being 95F for a few days as well....
Grass is recovering slowly, it'll be fine.

Moving forward, I will apply the proper low dose every 4 weeks during the growing season....

VBW is strange.....it is nonexistent, then in mid to late August, it explodes!

I have gone through more Celsius and Sedgehammer this year than I ever have. Buttonweed and Sedge is insane. I am about to say screw it and get the round up out

I need to take out a loan for the chemicals for this crap!
I've determined it's Bidens fault.
