I recently sprayed 24D around my property in attempt to control the undergrowth. It worked well but after everything died off green briars have seemed to taken over these areas. The 24D is not doing anything to stop or kill the briars. Any recommendations?

Triclopyr kills it. Careful around desirable trees. I knocks the shite out of brush though. I've used it for green briar at my place.

Greenbriar (Smilex) has a hard white rhizome close to the soil surface that is pretty easy to dig out. I've found them up to a foot long something like a sweet potato in shape. Any parts left in ground will sprout.

Doesn't work on briars unless they are all leafed up IIRC

Round up will kill them, but you'll still have dead briars forever. You'll have to cut, pull, or burn them.
