Looking to have 3 palms (2 live, 1 dead) removed from my lot. Is my best bet a tree trimming company? What can I expect to pay?

Search for companies that specialize in palm trees. Contact them and offer it to them for free if they also remove the dead one. Most of them will want to come take them off you hands.

I took out 3, 25 footers last year.
They cut easy, I chain sawed the tops, then used a sawsall to cut the small roots around the bases.
Then cut diagonally across the stumps, to make smaller trunk , base pieces.
Then shovelled em out.
No big deal, they dont have much of a root system.
