How do I get rid of nut grass in the summer?

After a long spring, I am almost ready for the hot dry Texas summer. One small yard is lost to now finally declining dayflower but I’m over it. My last concern is the nutsedge in an otherwise great rear/side yard. That yard gets full sun. Grass is Tifway419 Bermuda. Mow height is one inch.
I have a bottle of Image, but someone on here said not to use that in the hot summer. Can I use it at dusk? Any better option?

Image did a great job killing my nutsedge late summer last year... and everything else in my yard.

Sedgehammer or any off brand sedge killer with the active ingredient halosulfuron-methyl.

Certainty LINK

...or you can snag a bottle or two of this if it's just a little spot spraying - LINK

Are you blanket spraying or spot spraying?

I would use one of the above options versus the Image. Image takes like 2-3 weeks to work and I've had mixed results with it. I definitely wouldn't apply it in this heat.

Essentially a blanket spray. I’m kind of new to this and usually just use 24D, trimec, and image. My experience is to get things wet with hose sprayer or use pull behind 15 gallon broadcast at 2/3 mower speed and 50% overlap from width of broadcast.
I’m really stepping things up this year because I lost a tree in a storm and since now I can finally have my front yard looking good, I want the back looking great also.

If your lawn is healthy, you should be ok using Image for Nutsedge. I just used sedgehammer last week.

It is healthy. I think. It got soaked in permethrin yesterday and has some recovering brown spots from spotting triclopyr awhile back but it took lowering to 1” like a champ and is growing good. Did some 30-0-0 about 10 days ago.
