The area I’m looking at, I can buy a modern build cookie cutter on a 4K sq ft lot vs an older but pseudo remodeled home on a quarter to third acre for similar price.
Question for the team here: what will hold up better in 10 years? Assume same schools area etc
Area is Kirkland Redmond Bellevue area

Probably too many variables. If this new cookie cutter is your standard DR Horton fare, I'd say anything but that.
It depends on where you are in life. I have a nice half acre lot with a 2000 built home and I wouldn't trade it for 4 DR Horton homes.
