I am going to plant 125 1 gallon camelias to form a new hedgerow.

The hedgerow is u shaped, say 200' for each leg, 600' total.

I had a drip setup in mind with poly hose and branch lines, tapping the branch lines with 2 emitters/plant. Main line from the spigot to center of the U, then branch lines headed out to the ends of the hedgerow.

AI suggested a dripline with pressure compensating emitters already built in, at predetermined spacing. Seems its a much simpler and easier install. Downside is i would be watering the space between. I guess thats not a problem as they grow.

Any recommendations from the board? Any brands I should look at? Brands i should avoid? Where is the best place to buy this stuff?

The best way is to use a poly tube and add your own emitters. The pre emitter tubing would be more expensive. You would have to make two runs to have two drips. 1/2” drip tubing has a max gpm of 4 gallons per minute. Lay out your design and leave some extra capacity for any changes. You can use any poly pipe but I personally would stick with RainBird.

I’ve ripped out my last irrigation line. Went with soaker hoses on timers. 600’ is quite the distance though.
